C.D. YA is still in First Place!
Club Deportivo YA lost a close game today by a score of 4-3. Playing without its full squad against an older, bigger, and more experienced opponent, C.D. YA held its own against tough odds. Oso, Mario, and Jaime all scored excellent goals. Defenders Michael, Panchito, and Jorge all played strongly throughout the game. Midfielders Jose and Oso played especially well throughout the game, putting YA in the position to win the game at the end. Missing two goals in the closing minutes of the game was an unlucky break, but all members of C.D. YA played well today. YA remains in first place in its Division.
The Club is currently playing in the YMCA Gulfton League
at Burnett-Bayland Park.
Games are on Saturdays at 12 p.m.
